We have just had our first two happy days welcoming young people from White Lodge Centre for the first time. We had children ranging from four to eighteen years old who all enjoyed the variety that the field has to offer - but particularly the hammocks and our new hanging trapeze swing.
The young people did a fantastic job at painting and decorating horseshoes, creating some beautiful masterpieces to take home. They also did a great job greeting and grooming Annie and Fudge, with some of them meeting a pony for the very first time.
We were so glad of our wheelchair track, very kindly donated by the Children With Special Needs Foundation which allowed several wheelchair users to access our activities and meet Annie and Fudge up close too!
We are really looking forward to welcoming White lodge young people back for several more dates of summer fun over the upcoming months to watch them achieve even more.
